Description
This welding machine are vertical motion type pressurizing mechanisms. Due to the compressibility of the air, the follow-up of the pneumatic welder is superior to that of the hydraulic welder, and the pneumatic system can be used for the vertical motion welder of all powers, so the projection welding machine mostly uses a pneumatic system.
Projection welding is actually a multi-point spot welding in which the distribution of solder joints is determined by the convex portion. The projection welding is a variant of spot welding, and the welding process is the same as the principle and spot welding. Therefore, the projection welding machine used is basically the same as the spot welding machine.
The projection welding machine is general-purpose and special-purpose; if the spot welding attachment is added to the upper and lower electrodes of the universal welding machine, it becomes a projection welding and spot welding machine.




Difference
1. The upper and lower electrodes are not round rods but flat plates, and the working surface is flat. Usually, standard T-shaped grooves are provided for mounting bolts;
2, The welding machine power and electrode pressure is large, determined by the number of bumps or the area of the convex ring;
3. Generally, the electrode pressurization is only suitable for the direct press type, that is, the upper electrode is moved vertically to its working surface.


Advantage
1. Multiple solder joints can be soldered simultaneously in one welding cycle.
2. Since the current is dense in the bump and the current density is large, the welding can be performed with a small current, and a small nugget can be reliably formed.
3. The position of the projection welding is accurate and the dimensions are the same, so that the strength of the welding head is relatively uniform.
4, Can achieve the welding of different structural workpieces. Due to the current concentration, the disadvantage of the nugget offset during spot welding is overcome, and the thickness of the two workpieces during the projection welding can exceed 6 to 1.
5. Since the large-surface electrode is used and the bump is placed on one workpiece, the indentation of the exposed surface of the other workpiece can be minimized.
6. Compared with the spot welder, the oil, rust, oxide layer, layer and other coatings on the surface of the workpiece have less influence on the projection welding, but the clean surface can still obtain a more stable quality.
